Void Sets
The set without any components or invalid components is called a vacant set. This is likewise called a Null set or Void set. It is signified by {}.
Singleton Set
A set that has just a single component is known as a singleton set.
For instance, Set X = { 2 } is a singleton set.
Finite and Infinite Sets
Finite sets have a finite number of components, and infinite sets are those whose number of components can’t be assessed; however, it has some figure or number, which is exceptionally enormous to communicate in a set.
For instance, Set X = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5} is a finite set, as it has a finite number of components.
Set Y = {Number of Animals in India} is an infinite set.

Complex Numbers, Quadratic Equations, quadratic form, Sign of quadratic, Finite and Infinite Sequences, Quadratic Functions., Geometric Progression, Harmonic Progression, Binomial Theorem, Mathematical induction, Permutations Combinations, Properties of Binomial Coefficients.
Unit III
Equation of x-axis, y-axis, z-axis, and lines · Section and midpoint formula · Distance formula · As an extension of 2-D. Equation of XY - plane, YZ – plane, ZX – plane · parallel to them. Plane.
Unit IV
Derivatives of inverse trigonometric · Derivatives of logarithmic functions, Derivatives of exponential functions, Derivatives of trigonometric functions, functions - differentiation using Derivatives of implicit functions, and, substitution, Chain rule for composite functions Cross Product, Binary Operation, Inverse, and Composite function.
Integration of 1/x, ex · Revision of formulae from Class XI ·Integral Calculus Integrals of the type f' (x)[f (x)]n · Integration by simple substitution, Properties of definite integrals.
Unit V
Statistics
Standard deviation - by the direct method, Measures of central tendency, short-cut method, and step deviation. Combined mean and standard deviation method. The Median, Quartiles, Deciles, and Percentiles Mode – grouped and ungrouped data; estimation of grouped and ungrouped data; by using graphical method.
Probability
Events: certain events, impossible events, Random experiments, and their outcomes, mutually exclusive events, independent events. Definition of the probability of an event. Events and dependent events, Word building, Bayes theorem.
