The power of learning can be seen vividly described in the life of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, aka. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was an Indian jurist, economist, politician, and social reformer who continuously strived to make India better after independence.

His struggle for the independence of India made him an iconic leader even though he came from the most disadvantageous communities within India. 

On 14th April 1891, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was born in a community that was historically denied the right to education in India.

Although the dire circumstances, Ambedkar went on to earn two master’s degrees and two doctorates in the field of economics, political science, and law. 

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was one of the principal architects of the Indian Constitution and was the first law minister of Independent India.

Ambedkar was a fierce lawyer and was known for his work for the rights of marginalized communities in India.

He wrote a biography on the life of Gautam Buddha and always stressed the importance of education to uplift and enlighten your way to progress. 

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar once said, “cultivation of mind should be the ultimate aim of human existence.”

He believed that only by sharing the opportunities of life can one define their destiny.
