freedom fighter of india

It took 190 years (1757 – 1947) to free India from the bondage of British rule. Initially, after the battle of Plassey in 1757, the rule of India came to the hands of the East India Company.

A century later, in 1857, after the Sepoy Mutiny, East India Company handed over the ruling power to the British Kingdom.

In this scenario, the role of the Indian Freedom Movement is inexplicable.

The youngsters from different corners of India joined the revolution against the British colonial government.

Our entire country went through great upheaval during the Indian Freedom movements.

Small to large, all types of movements were emerging with the leadership of young and courageous freedom fighters.

From Punjab to Bengal to Madhya Pradesh to Karnataka, everywhere was filled with the resonance of Jai Hind – the slogan by one of our leading freedom fighters, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

Indians came on the streets to protest against the British rules with placards, flags, books in their hands.

Indians got furious against the oppression and exploitation.

In this blog, we will discuss the great freedom fighters of India, who led several freedom movements in different regions of India.

The role of the women freedom fighters of India is unimaginable.
