JEE Exam Pattern in the New Normal
The JEE Exam has a definite pattern, and therefore, it is essential for the students to know it.
Knowing the pattern of the exam provides an upper hand in preparing for the examination.
Students appearing for IIT JEE must have a definite study structure to succeed in the exam.
The responsibility of this major exam is on the National Testing Agency or NTA.
For the 2021 JEE exam, the NTA authorities have changed some rules.
Therefore, students need to abide by these new sets of norms to prepare for their exams effectively.
Here are some new changes in the pattern for JEE exam that will be conducted in 2021:
The JEE exam is divided into four sessions.
Prior to this, the exam took place in two segments—Paper 1, in February, March, April, and May. Paper 2A and Paper 2B include B. Planning and B. Arch, and the exam will be conducted now twice a year.
1. There are 90 questions in Paper 1; among them, 20 questions will appear in section A, and section B will have 10 questions. Students need to answer 75 questions in total-20 questions from section A and 5 questions from section B. This pattern is fixed for Maths, Chemistry, and Physics.
2. The questions regarding B. Arch subjects and courses will appear in Paper 2. There will be 82 questions in total, from where students can only answer 77. These 77 questions must be (Drawing-2, Maths- 25, and Apptitude-50). The grand total of Paper 2A is 400.
3. In Paper 2B, there will be 105 questions, but students can opt for 100 only. This paper will be out of 400.
4. In the Maths section in Paper 2A and 2B, students can only answer 5 out of 10.
5. As the JEE exam is a nation-based exam, therefore the NTA authorities confirmed that there would be 13 different languages for the paper.

JEE Main Exam Pattern
There will be two shifts for three papers of JEE Mains of 2021. These shifts are morning and evening. Here is a general pattern of JEE Mains:
