Finnally Answered What came first: Chicken or Egg?

What came first chicken or Egg

The concept is still a riddle to the humans.

According to the interpretation of the Bible, Chicken came first and then; it produced eggs.

Genesis says, "God blessed them, saying, be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the water in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth."

The below information will focus on this interesting topic.

Scientific Discoveries

Very astonishingly, James Watson and Francis Crick, the two scientists, first invented the first-ever three-dimensional structure of DNA.

The structure is a double 3D structure with long double chains created with four chemicals.

Each of the two chains specifies the content of the partner. This structural arrangement indicates the mechanism of reproduction.

New DNA building blocks are known as nucleotides.

The double helix structure brought a massive upheaval in the discoveries on the functions and reproduction of the living cells.

These discoveries brought profound speculations about life's origins.

Multiple definitions are prevalent about life, as the topic is complicated to understand.

Life has been defined in the simplest way ever as, "Life is a self-sustained chemical system capable of undergoing evolution."

In the book "The Selfish Gene", Richard Dawkins described the concepts that genes are DNA sequences. According to Dawkins, long before a molecule took formation accidentally.

This molecule is referred to as Replicator. Unlike the other molecules, the significance of this specific molecule is that it can make copies of itself.

DNA fits this molecule perfectly. Still, complications were there, as DNA replication can't be successful without specific numbers of proteins, where proteins are members of a different molecule family than DNA ones. Smaller units called amino acids form the DNA structure.

Cells use twenty such different blocks to execute a variety of tasks.

Enzymes work as a catalyst that speeds up the chemical processes to boost the existence of life.

DNA consists of the recipe of proteins, but the help of some proteins is necessary to copy the information.

So, which did come first? – Chicken (the protein) or Egg (the DNA)?

A probable solution came up when we introduced RNA. RNA is similar to DNA, comprising the same building blocks with different roles in a cell.

Particular RNA carries information of DNA to create proteins.

In 2006, the Noble prize was awarded in Chemistry and Medicine for the discovery of the role of RNA.

Here comes a comparatively simple solution for the chicken-and-egg conception.

Life came to existence with the first RNA module. According to Noble Laureate Walter Gilbert, the first replicator RNA emerged from a non-living matter and carried out the functions that are now done by RNA, DNA, and proteins.

Various other proofs support the idea that RNA appeared much before DNA and protein.

To conclude, none of the DNA or the protein came first.

It was RNA that came long before this one. Now, the origin of RNA is still a mystery to scientists.

We will have to wait for the answer till the discovery of the origin of RNA.
